Pectoral Implants: Recovery
Expect moderate soreness for a few days following the surgery. Your surgeon will prescribe pain medication to make you more comfortable. You should be able to switch to acetaminophen after a few days; don't take aspirin or any aspirin-containing drugs since that can cause bleeding and greater bruising.

In a week or so you can return to work and resume full activity from three to six weeks.
